The BART Book by Nathaniel J. Bice is made with hand carved linoleum block prints on rag paper and bound into an accordion book. When opened, the book creates a 10 car train in the legacy BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) style. It can be displayed open in a zig-zag or fan shape, or stored with a hand folded origami paper closure. It is a unique, hand made item that shows an enduring love for the Bay Area, public transit, and train systems.
